Since it is a flat roofed home I did not have any shade or protection for the windows. Jack designed the awnings to match my existing exterior trim. He and Henry installed them so as to provide the needed shade in the summer but still allow for the winter sun to shine in. During the install they discovered that the lintels and some of the other interior lumber was rotten and needed to be replaced. They were able to accomplish this and make it look like original. Their craftsmanship is very good.
